Another sappy one I guess

                                                       Hero

Its the little things that matter,

Like the way you  can't bear ,

To see me cry,

Its the little things that matter,

The way you never think ,

I'm being way to sensitive,

Even when I loathe this ,

Weakness in myself,

You would walk through the pouring rain,

To rescue a pet that means so much,

Because you know how much I hurt,

That's what makes you my hero.

You don't need to straddle a steed,

Or charge in guns blazing,

For me to recognize you for what you are,

My knight in shining armor,

I would never choose to be a damsel in distress,

But if I have to be saved then the hero could only be you.

I wrote this because it reminded me to appreciate what I have.

Ah, this is simply the sweetest tribute to the man who is your heart and hero. For they do tend to know us so well and are able to do the things that mean the most to us. Always keeping our hearts safe from the brutal world, and accept us for who we are. Nothing more heroic than that!
