ImperfectA Poem by Vidya BacchusNobody's perfect but you are perfect for me. Imperfect Tell me your secrets and I will keep them, Hold out your hand to me, And you will never have to wonder, If I will take it, Beg forgiveness from others, But simply ask it of me. When I fell and hit the ground hard, You were there to pick up the pieces, And sort through them until, You got it right, How do I look now sewn and stuck together, By the sweetest mad scientist? You love me just fine, Scars and baggage and broken dreams, And so do I, Even when you seem so distant, There is always a bridge that leads me to you, Even when your shadows are the darkest. I can find you, Just there in the rhythm of my heartbeat, Just waiting, Because you know I will come, Just perfect, In the midst of your imperfections.
