Matthew.

A Poem by Matt

My thoughts are caught in a haze.

Friends don't see it,

The parents think its just a phaze.

I'm having-a-lil trouble~walking straight.

We are drops in a bucket.

I'll pour the bucket out.

Shuffle in the puddle.

Our aspirations  float away,

broken ripples in the clouds.

I'll dive into the sun.

Living but hardly breathing,

consumed in the flame.

No body knew it.

Nothing will ever be the same.

Few Immortal words speak to me.

Less an less is beginning to mean to me,

Gods that used to stand for something.

Now you've made them bleed.

I remember when I used to stand for something.

The days used to be longer.

We would fall for anything.

The Build begins to drop.

The moments, what even our dreams couldn't stop.

I believe i'm trying to be found.

Or that everyone's lost.

Maybe its just me.

This is good..if fact it not only reminds me of the changes in youths..but how the older people think as they age and their lives start to wither away..Keep writing..Valentine
