I sit and wait

I sit and wait

A Poem by Victoria

I sit and wait

patiently

for you to call

for you to see

that I am free

I’ve been all day
I’ve been all week
I’ve been all month
I’ve been all year
but you’ve not called

maybe you don’t see

and I’m developing

this fear

that you don’t want

to see me at all

but still I sit and wait

patiently
