Blame

Blame

A Poem by Victoria

Addicted to the way it made her feel
She didn't know it would take forever to heal
Thinking she was strong enough to fight
Little did she know she would be owned by the night
She was the one all along
Feeding herself poison, knowing that it was wrong
The smile on her face hides what is inside
Nobody knows how much she has cried
She might as well be bleeding from her heart
After all, she's the one who shot the dart
It really is such a shame
All this pain and she's the only one to blame
