On the Inside

On the Inside

A Poem by Victoria

Her heart fluttered, batting those pretty brown eyes.
He'd always claimed her as his angel in disguise.
No demon in hell could ever turn her down,
For she'd whisper in their ears and they'd simply drown.
It was that sweet voice of hers, so innocent,
That could send any man into imprisonment.
You see, she was an angel on the outside, no doubt,
But the Devil was on the inside, begging to be let out.

Nice description of what one may host lurking inside, deceiving acts to be released from their dark place.
