A Story by Victoria

Can’t get the smell of his cologne out of my mind, the song stuck in my head, and the home i found in his arms. It feels so good to have a safe place to run to one that won’t judge you and loves you for who you are. Calls you beautiful likes it’s your name and respects every decision you make. The scary thing about this “home” is that feeling you get when he forwards your call or leaves your text on read. The uncertainty of not knowing if he found a home in someone else’s arms. But you shouldn’t cry over someone who doesn’t love you. Yet we still weep over our lost home. You loved every minute of it though and if you could do it again you wouldn’t change a thing. You will always love that home.
