Spring time clockA Poem by Vicky Ann SmithThe unraveling of SpringCome out and play Any time of day For the sun and moon Dance clearly in the sky.
With April showers Daffodils and daisies sprout Colouring the grass And baby birds cry from budding branches.
Ducklings are learning to swim With the tadpoles Croaking and quacking To the springtime clock,
Drawing the white curtain Far from the chilly hours To the heated sun bed In your own back garden. © 2008 Vicky Ann Smith |
