Spring time clock

Spring time clock

A Poem by Vicky Ann Smith
"

The unraveling of Spring

"

Come out and play

Any time of day

For the sun and moon

Dance clearly in the sky.

With April showers

Daffodils and daisies sprout

Colouring the grass

And baby birds cry from budding branches.

Ducklings are learning to swim

With the tadpoles

Croaking and quacking

To the springtime clock,

Drawing the white curtain

Far from the chilly hours

To the heated sun bed

In your own back garden.
