Softer Snow

Softer Snow

A Poem by Amethyst Rose

Drifting slowly towards chilly ground

Pooling upon the runny clay

Frozen droplets hanging lazily in the air

Cold and beautiful dancing slowly

Swirling elegantly and freely as the fall

So sacred in it’s temporary beauty

Melting away in the puddles of my tears

Pure and sinless being thawed in warm waters

As the softer snow falls
