I look in my eyes

I hate what I see

Unhappiness tries

To completely take over me

 

I adore you a lot

I give you my love

But confusion doesn't wane

 

How can it be so hard,

To know what future lies for us

When what I want right now

Is to be "us" over and over again

 

So what is this fear

Why do I doubt

This is not a game

 

I'm still holding back

To giving you my heart

Because I don't want the pain

 

Of someday saying goodbye

Because I was too weak

To believe what we have

Is the greatest thing

 

Will love be enough

After all that has happened

Will we somehow prevail

Or will we fail

 

But I won't say goodbye luv

I'm willing to try

And fight for what is ours

Even if its the hardest feat

 

If we're truly in love

We deserve to be happy

You are meant for me

As I am for you

 

Don't give up on trying

To claim me as yours

The day will come

When you'll stand at my door
