In the shadows

I search for you

Hoping to sense

Some kind of release

Perhaps relief

That someday

The world will be just

And show me

That’s its worth

My living for

 

Lost in my own head

Trapped

Amongst the thoughts

That lingered for so long

Of despair

Of agony

Of unjust

Of unhappiness

Unfounded misjudgement

Unwanted resentment

 

Will you lend me your ear?

And listen to my fears

My incessant banters

Will you stretch out your hand

And guide me through

To a path worth taking

In a place of comfort

Where the light is unending

And my eyes are opened

And hope is free

I really liked this. The last stanza was awesome. I only have one suggestion and then I'll be on my way. In the second stanza you wrote three lines -- "Of despair//Of agony//Of unjust". If you changed the word "unjust" to "injustice" it would keep the terms in those lines parallel and would help it flow a bit better. Good work!
