Storm Before The Clearing

Storm Before The Clearing

A Poem by Vanessa P

I've known your pain

From a thousand storms ago

An old me that was left torn

The bleeding of the heart

That's unable to stop

Only goes on for more

Til there is nothing left

No beating, no sound

And the pain relentless

When misery is the only company

You dare welcome to keep

You're scorned by your own

This will not be forever

As you feel it would be now

Give it some time

Gray skies will turn blue again

Smiles will be back in your eyes

Believe me, I was once you

Encouraging for me and I hope for the one you intended it. No one could have penned it better, relating to you past and see someone living thru it now.
Very nice!

Reassuring words, very positive and motivating one to hope for a better tomorrow. This is a fine write.

I'm sorry I don't exactly agree with the thoughts here. Things get better only if you let them get better. But some of us never let the wound heal; the scar shows forever and continues to hurt. For such people, there is certainly no hope that 'Gray skies will turn blue again, Smiles will be back in your eyes'

But I appreciate your concern very much. It was so thoughtful of you. I hope the person it was written for is an optimist.

Excellent write.

Beautiful words V, of such encouragement; even though someone's "skies" might be cloudy and a storm might be swirling about, there can be a ray of sunshine just towards the horizon..
