Cycle of LiesA Poem by Vanessa P005001008 445P
When he held my hand I thought it was comfort He meant to give But his intention Was different from mine I was mislead to believe That our friendship was real
Now I sit here bewildered Heart broken deep In some ways regretful That it always ends up like this When I refuse to play Our age old little games He puts me aside And stay in silence
Over and over my heart breaks To little pieces That can never be put back the same I'd always miss him And his strange uncaring ways Why he has a place in me I'll never know for certain But I refuse to be held captive
