Did I make you long for an embrace

I had no intention of repeating?

 

Did I cause you to whimper?

Did I give you a reason to cry

When you've not cried once in your lifetime?

 

Did I act cruelly towards you?

Did I take away the love

That once brought joy in your life?

 

Did I leave you alone?

Did I die and not tell you

That I truly loved you so
