Office Etiquette

Office Etiquette

A Poem by Vanessa P

Whispers and stares

Occasional banters and glares

Petty arguments

Taken out of content

Everyday is like a soap opera

Filled with lots of drama

Women acting like four

With them I could wipe the floor

Every little thing's an issue

They're so quick to judge you

The men are no better

Always thinking with their pecker

How should one deal with this?

Is ignorance truly bliss?

I prefer to stay civil

Try to refrain from all that's evil

Because I need to be professional

Even if the pay is minimal

HAha, loved this! You've so eloquently summed up the 'workplace environment'! I definitely know what you're talking about, as I've seen it happen too many times at some of the jobs I've had in the past! Great imagery describing the different types of people and love the slightly sarcastic, yet ironic tone! :)
