Magnificent Red

I stare at you beyond the horizon

Your beams of red

Encompassing the wide blue sky

I lose my breath for a moment

Because your beauty is overwhelming

To not appreciate you

Is a crime to my soul's depth

I can't wait for tomorrow

To come see you again

My mind's filled with serenity

Just to watch you set for me

This is the moment

I'd want to share you with my love

I have a beautiful view from my back yard to be able to see the sunset everynight. I really need to make time to do it. My daughter is the sunset queen, she's always watching for it. The beautiful hues, a photo or painting can't really do it justice, no matter how good. God kisses each days close with a beautiful sunset, we need to recieve it..........alone or with someone else. Mmmmmm. What a sweet, calm feeling.

Wow... This is just an amazing poem hun. The words you use, the images I can see in this, it's just amazing... I've seen a couple sunsets like this before, but have never shared one with someone special to me. I hope one day very soon I'll have the privilege of doing so. A moment I could cherrish forever. ;)
