The Kiss

The Kiss

A Poem by Vic Frederick

Its anticipation is intoxicating

   Exciting the entire body

Arms and legs tingle with anxiety
    Moments before the moment

Its nature is revealing
   Expressing true intentions
Passion, desire, lust and love
   Cannot masquerade within it

Its effect is foretelling
   Exposing a lovers style

Its memory is surreal
   Existential for all time

Very nice. Lovely, in fact.

I liked it. That was very simple. And trust me, coming from a teenage girl's heart, I know that feeling exactly. Great job on this one! =)
