An Ode To LoveA Poem by Nate E. Flake (Cösmic Wönder)...this was actually the first poem that I wrote. This poem was possibly writen in August of this year. The beacon of love, Where of destiny reigns, Against the just, Seek not pain, For beauty can not be tamed, The field of cloves remind me of you, To be one with your thoughts is a gift of great virtue, Time, and time again, I look back to catch a sweet glimpse of you, Only to find you staring past me, I wonder if she noticed, To be with you is only a fantasy of mine, For there is a widen gap between reality, and falsehood, Should I yearn, Yearn exceedingly for your love.
Seek love...for love can not be tamed either. © 2010 Nate E. Flake (Cösmic Wönder)Author's Note
