essence of life

essence of life

A Poem by Nate E. Flake (Cösmic Wönder)
"

just something i thought of a couple of days ago. i'm sure there could have been more to it.

"

it never fails to move me to observe

the calm, placid visage

with eyes sealed unto vast, unknown worlds

upon someone so profoundly familiar. the stillness of the moment,

the apex of all that is, and for all that could be hoped.

death and life, and life converged with death.

it bellows deep down into my sentient being.

clasping unto me

there is none so intimate.

there is none so bold.

i have died many times within

to be born again and again.

it never ends.it never ceases to be.

your eyes flicker with a light.

that envelops me.

could this ethereal moment be prolonged forevermore.

renaissance

"remort"

encore, encore.
