A word of silence

silence is in itself the most powerful speech..

Her eyes leering at me,

A gesture of anticipation I sensed.

Doldrums of unstated feelings,

Yet, contentment never felt before.

Chained were my words then,

So, uttered a word of silence.

A moment of stillness,

But an age of restiveness passed by…

Again a day slew away,

But the word of silence was not understood!!!
