HerA Poem by Hannah KolarThis poem is dedicated to a very very dear friend to me. I love her and want the best for her.Picking at the bed Of such harassed cuticles Nervous Ticking ticking and Wait Grasping tightly upon the phalanges Shifting her Gaze scans the Fallen love she So desperately craved The fear rises; the Anxiety takes the wheel and Steers the ship Insidiously Grasping To the Helm
Let Me Go
She Begs
Echoes of the Night of her scar Calamity reverses As She Scrapes together what She can’t let go
Such abrasive Chemicals Course through the Shallow veins Twisted around a Corrosive spine that she cannot Escape
Darker Prescribe the black Of the forbidden fruit Band aid of their such precariously Researched Medical Innovations The pill of the broken
She Who is so strong in her Armor Lets nothing break through the membrane of This façade of Bravery
She is not alone © 2012 Hannah KolarAuthor's Note
