From the heavens the rains parade

whilst on the ground entertainers cascade

drizziling down boulevards, splashing  in streets

all the while the rain endevors to maintain its beats

the downpour of dancers, the sprinkling of snares

under which lightning and thunder patiently bares

a flood of flutes and a hurricane of horns

washing away the sky's cloudy uniforms

the endless trickle of color

the winds symphonic score

the event is to be postponed

moved to a day we arent looking for
