Gutteral Growl

Gutteral Growl

A Poem by Julius Whitfield

sallow, dilated sun

dim to the dusk sky

barter to barter

conveyed by a murky claw

to come on aboard

this joyride

pass the way of the howling chimerics

and beyond the blue flames

your new employer staid in his manners

imperturbable in his affairs

presents a rancorous mask

through the seasoned face

a mask of inexorable wrath

old man wants you to stay

this old man won't take any repudiation

this old man wont have it any other way

old man wants you to stay for a while

the order

the order of chaos

there's no order without chaos

dracul...

dragons rain

dragons reign

monster reign

impaling armies

impaling children

impaling wives

imposters of any will be intolerable

mina

reincarnation of a fallen angel

murderous God

Loveable demon

desirable ghost of wrath and emptiness

feed

feed

howling chimerics

feed

children of the worriless night

feed fromt he wounds of self-righteous fools

feed from the wombs of demi-gods
