Ambiguous Amphibians

Ambiguous Amphibians

A Poem by Ruby

with amber skin and amber eyes
through amber sap a mile wide
ambiguous to all  - she glides
ambiguously small - she rides
the always constant ebbing tide-
but never kicks and never hides
because she never needs to.

she ambles quietly away
amber skin on amber bay
amphibious - in separate places
amphibious - in different spaces-
of mind; she's gone astray.
Left blue waters and left blue days
and all that's left is blue.

with deep blue skin and bluer eyes
her heart is blue and there she hides
ambiguous to all - she shies
ambiguously small - she cries
her constant loving, failing tries-
but never heals and no goodbyes
because she never needs to.

the alliteration this is piece is amazing, i also like the constant colours.
Amber and blue, two colours that go togethers oh so nicely.
