Labyrinth

Labyrinth

A Poem by Gypsy
"

Mystical forest adventure

"

Drifting transient
Weaving thru visceral shadows
Within this black labyrinth maze
Seeking out just a hint of light

The forest is faintly painted
Fermented by fog and haze
Pathways of abstruse blue
Crystal rainbow hallucinations

Bewitched and mesmerized
I wander endlessly

Thru dimmed pathways
Seeking composure and calm

The night has fallen black
And the skies are gray and gloomy
I can feel a mist of sunshine
And sweet warmth fills my being

Evening drifts away into a new day
Fear and uncertainty dissipate
Sunshine flowers and misty rain

I awake to a fresh and new
Mystical labyrinth day

I have read and heard many stories about labyrinths and I must say that I am glad to have this story end in a happy way. I love that the fear and uncertainty go away. Awesome write.

I've always wondered what a Labyrinth could be like. :) The days there seemed to go by fast though..... Good job and keep writing!!
