Aching Heart

Aching Heart

A Poem by Gypsy
"

New and hot off the press...couldnt keep my achey breaky heart hands off the paper today!

"

Spinning, reeling and aching

My heart has been forsaken

In misery and disbelief

I’m just a shell of hollow grief

I beg of you with earnest plea

Please, please stop haunting me

 I wake each morning

Aching and yearning

For your morning kiss

That I so woefully miss

But my seamless companion

Has left me in abandon

As I sort thru the heartache and debris

I pray that you somehow still want me

But as warm tears fall from my eyes

I know I’ve been shelved and hung to dry

One day life will again shine for me

Until then, I am just trying to breathe

Eventually your memory will fade

My heart will not ache from this painful blade

The treacherous aching heart

Oh how we die, when we part

Love is just a perpetual wound

And dreams of love always end too soon
