Frozen Tears

Frozen Tears

A Poem by Gypsy

Frozen Tears

Behind the façade

Of happy smiles

Tucked safely away

Laying frozen and chilled

Are Iced over tears

Left warped by time

A day will come

To release and relinquish

A torrential rain

Of uncried tears

Someday I’ll be cleansed

One day I’ll let go

Someday I’ll be real

One day I’ll be free

How the heart does cry

How the soul does bleed

How the mind reflects

Crying frozen tears
