Some Succeeded Better In Life Dead

Some Succeeded Better In Life Dead

A Poem by Veil

her last exhalation over lips
that bore a faint smile
was no compromise for
the misery she left in her wake
while every day
a million tongues collected
and in her ear
whispered without language
----------------------
If I wrote her eulogy
It would sound something like this:
"Miserable soul...
always so grim in life...
but finally
undeserved flesh rots away
to reveal
the beauty
of her eternal lipless smile"
