Sing and Fly

Sing and Fly

A Poem by Victoria
"

love struck. twice in one lifetime.

"
i hear your temper from here
holding my chain from a far away land
distance leashing me to silence.
I don't remember the last time I was free.
Everything we had crashes down on me
The tower of real love
you overshot and destroyed.
Distance and distance and her and distance
You are a liar.
for I am not pretty or good with a fresh hunt.
Treating me like every other girl
won't make me feel any worthier
than your new stocky boots.
Digging your own grave was
quite kind of you.
I hadn't wished you would dig
quite so fast,
but now all I have left to do is
sing the songs you sung to me
in the dark with our favorite champagne.
I want to believe that you're here for something.
You're voice isn't lying.
Trying.
Dying.
to hear mine in the wee hours of the night,
because I want to leave here and spend
the rest of my life
wondering how your hair gets
so long.
Finished.
Au Revoir love. We have fallen
in the wrong direction towards
the end of our lives.
Or just I have.
You still want to love me till
the end of time.
I have found reason in this ending
so fine.
Beginning.
or end? You crazy flier of flight.
Fly me to the moon, but never back.
We can spend the rest of the lives that
aren't really ours
in the stars.
on the moon.
until someone brave enough
can find us.

A lot of anger and love and hurt in those words. They tell a story untouched by light or even the tip of a pen. The way you right make the read feel and experience everything along with you. I loved it.
