A Poem by Victoria

You’re tender and mine with your tight soft red lips
That jiggle and wind like a young preachers hips.
That wiggle and buck as they sing to the chapel
Of night walks of joy and death by an apple.
I only wish it were simpler than this
So maybe one day I can give you that kiss
That changes your world and life as you know it
That makes you a rock star and makes me a poet.
So here’s to those who dream of the love
That begins with a kiss and ends with a shove
Into endless moments that no one can capture
You may even call it happily ever after
Of course the world is more complicated than this
Because of what it know it will miss
Like a budding blue romance that starts in the spring
And argues and grows into everything.
I wonder sometimes what I seem to be after
If love is a void or just a long chapter
That keeps me waiting till just the right time.
Or maybe inspires with just the right rhyme.
