Even if I can't fly

Even if I can't fly

A Poem by Victoria

I've still got the wind to hold my hand.
I've still got the moments I can understand.
I'll take with me my reasons and your sanity,
So maybe I'll find myself and kind of be free.
There isnt a second where I dont remember
Your face, your smile, those lights in December.
Of course when I'm ready to be with just one
I'll find you that instant. No wait, I'll run
To you and the love I could never erase
From my heart. I've kept it in one special place
That will probably never see the light of day
Because then I'll die. It's better this way.
To keep you wrapped up in a tiny red box
That beats and trembles with life see my heart
Doesn't remember a time or a face.
Only a feeling. A tiny sweet taste
Of love and sweet laughter that traveled through time
All whipped together with your hand in mine.
My life and my darling have always and will be
The most important and beautiful part of me.
I hope if you're listening you'll hear me once more
With maybe the words I could not say before.

loved this poem. i could feel the emotions as it seeped out of the words, down the letters, and into the reader. the way you described everything was amazing.
