Drowned Word

Drowned Word

A Poem by Victor Soares

Cry, Embedded Despair!

Of the Night and Day!

Cry, Embedded Despair!

Try, Embedded Despair!

Say, Embedded Despair!

It suffocates, doesn’t it?

It hurts inside, doesn’t it?

Embedded Despair, cry me a river of words,

Tell me a ton of secrets and don’t be that weak furtive!

Cry, Embedded Despair!

Don’t be shy!

Say, Embedded Despair!

Say it, say it!

Wow, that's a lot of power behind your words. But if I were you, I might cut down on the repetition, even though it seems as though the intensity of emotion is probably found in that repetition. Hmm, this is a tough one mostly because I find it a little difficult to connect the title with the poem's meaning... maybe it'll hit me later on, haha.

But really, the emotion in the words is seriously powerful. I enjoyed your style, it's something different from what I usually see. =)

This is good! I think the font you picked really helps to build the power behind the words. Great work!
