Sometime poetry give the writer peace. Sometime the poetry give peace to other. Some words are releases of lessons learn. I'm thankful for the Poets of the past and of today. I would suggest getting rid of the very ending "you, us"
It takes a lot away from the poem. The poem would be so much better if it were just "I write poetry, poetry writes me."
Often times people add things that are unnecessary.
