Toxic Maiden

Toxic Maiden

A Poem by aghora

A lungful of water
A mouthful of air
A mad gasp for oxygen
A toxic maiden fair

A handful of dust
An eyeful of the dark
A step to the light
A blind man's elusive hark

A mindful of nothingness
A soulful of flesh
A dash for redemption
A sinner's tounge, turned ash

A spoonful of dew
An armful of tears, all coy
A leap of faith into a void
A tragedy, filled with joy.
