Dear MommyA Poem by KasaundraThis is a poem about a child who wants to speak to their mother from heaven. The child is the one who has passed on.Please don’t cry mommy dear I am close to you and always near. It wasn’t you who took my life, but now I live on in the afterlife
Remember the feelings inside your tummy? I knew from the start that you were my mommy. I know you want to turn back time and turn around daddy’s bad crime.
But, each night in the sky I light you a star to let you know that I am not that far. It’s my simple way of showing my love from here in the heavens up above.
Dry your tears mommy dear I am quite safe up here. Your Auntie and Nana both hold me close, they play with me and my little toes.
I am safe from daddy and his evil wrath, no longer vulnerable and in his path. Mommy, Mommy its ok up here there other children for me to play.
I know it hurts you not to have me by your side I have seen all those tears that you’ve cried I know I left you without your choice, but one day we shall meet again and we will rejoice. © 2013 KasaundraReviews
