Us WritersA Poem by KittenI have poetry books, But I refuse to read them, I don't want to begin To mimic the sacred Scribblings of my fellow writers, I want to create something new, An unexpected inexperienced Experience. I cross the seas, Trek through mountains, Voyage over plains, Traverse through caves and caverns, Face my fears, Tame the beasts, Meeting strangers along the way, Gazing upon the stars and cosmos, Seeking inspiration from The beauty above, I choose to do all of this In hope of finding An unwritten masterpiece. Once I finally found it, I realize that throughout the Entirety of the journey, I was the sea, And the mountains, the plains, caves and caverns, I am my fears, I am the beasts And strangers met, The inspiration I seek is here. Finally solving the mystery, I present to you this poem.
