Melancholy SeaA Poem by KittenPoem praising the ocean....as the salty air blows through my hair, tides roll upon the land and meet gracefully with the sand, waves toss and crash upon each other, the sun reflecting off of the sapphire water, nothing can compare to the vastness of the sea, the beauty carried above and beneath, the aquatic life surges and glows, and the ocean appears a realm of it's own, creatures underwater appear to fly, in their own dense cerulean sky, floating throughout the weightless atmosphere, so many marvelous beings exist here, the whales warble their song, as tiny seahorse and jellyfish dance along, the seaweed fresh and green, the coral adding rainbow colors to the scene, so many marvelous things my words cease to describe, all I can say is everything here is so alive, sweetness of all of the turquoise hues, and the breathless blues. Inside the depths of the ocean, how I wish I could take a stroll on the sandy carpets that lay beneath, and the salty water with no air would not hinder me, from adventuring through the realm of the ultra-marine, the velveteen aqua would engulf me, and I would be dozed into a syrupy slumber, but I fear that this fantasy will never come to be, because I can not breath under the melancholy sea...
