Fresh

Fresh

A Poem by Kitten

Let me start over again,
since I have gone this route before,
fresh slice on the skin,
I can take no more.

My soul needs to breath
lost in it's condensed atmosphere,
my heart buried deep
down inside my despair,
hear my words,
let me gasp for the raw light,
and illuminate me like once before.

How long it has been,
might not come around again,
the nostalgia of my self-esteem utopia,
is now absent and disoriented,
how could I have misplaced it so far?

I will catch myself again,
eventually,
maybe so,
rooted so far in the depths of the cold ground,
thought there was no hope to ever be found,
my heart needing some good old fashioned redeeming,
my essence inside awake and steaming,
needing to be free and liberated.

Letting it go,
starting it fresh,
difficult will it be,
but my heart will finally rest.

You have a lovely vocabulary kitten, I would adore to read something from you in blank verse without any rhymes.

Of course, I would live to :)
This is too good to have been neglected by so many.
