Winter's LustA Poem by KittenPraising the beauty of the winter season!Everything touched by chill, nature and people get their fill of winter's lust, the trees dressed in their silken white gowns, the once grassy ground now blanketed by a pure white sheet, my nose turns cherry pink, and the cool air fills my nostrils, taking in deep breaths of the fresh air, the cool air on my neck sends shivers down my spine, taking in the quiet of the frozen beauty around me, the soft crunch of the snow beneath my feet, and the snowflakes dance to their own silent song, After a long day of treading in the blissful winter climate, time to retreat indoors, frost still nipping at my toes, starting to thaw out, I spark a small light in the dead fire place, now burning with a soft glow, the room turns warm, I find a blanket to share with my lover, close friend, family member, or pet so we share the warmth together, and for the night I sit and gaze at the golden flames, as the snow quietly falls outside the windows, winter is the sleepy season.
