Celebrating the lazy cats!

Cats sleep,

anywhere,

any table,

any chair,

top of piano,

window-ledge,

in the middle,

on the edge,

open drawer,

 empty shoe,

anybody's

lap will do,

fitted in a 

cardboard box,

in the cupboard,

with your frocks -

Anywhere!

They don't care!

Simple and very true! My cat will sit and sleep on absolutely anything, whether she's allowed to or not.
I also loved the way that the poem flowed. Quick-paced but not overly so.
The simplicity of the poem adds to its appeal, at least in my opinion.

Delightful write! The stacato rhyming lines made me think of a kitten jumping around a living room from table to chair to lap. Cats really do go where ever they want...and trying to control their behavior is futile! This was adorable. Lydi**
