Melanie gazed at him calmly, refusing to be affected by his volatile temper. "No, I don't know, but I know that you're not the same person that had you were when you did." She brought and hand to stroke the midnight stubble on his cheek before planting a soft kiss on his lips. "And I know that you know that too."
