dedicated to all the July 3-4, 2010 Nursing Board examinees By Vanesa Laurente Delfin "a poem for all the aspiring REGISTERED NURSES!"

The clock is ticking; and our ANXIETY is increasing...

INSOMIA, OVER-EATING, READING then SCREAMING;

PRAYING and HOPING…

BARGAINING in exchange of that something;

A something that all of us FUTURE RN’s are WISHING…

Not just a PASSING GRADE,

Not only the LISCENCE, but something

ON TOP of MASLOW’S HIEARCHY OF NEEDS

Something we call,

“SELF-ACTUALIZATION”

Thru this examination,

We could show everyone that;

NURSES are not just SMART

But also overflowing with KSA.

WE WISH, WE HOPE, that after 4 years of nursing we could all say

“GOAL MET”
