Have You Ever

 

Have you ever loved someone

   but they don’t feel

 the same way?

Have you ever seen someone

   and begged them

      to stay?

Have you ever witnessed

   the pain of

loss?

Or felt like you’re

lost

   in a fog?

Have you ever had

   someone let you

down

Have you ever felt

   like you’re so sad

that you’re going to drown.

I’ve seen these things

I know them all

But I never let them make

   me

feel

   small
