I look hoping to see your face

To feel your warm embrace

I wish to have your strong arms around me

To run my fingers through your hair

I look hoping to see you everywhere

I close my eyes and imagine you here

To have your lips upon mine

To look in your eyes

When I open them

I’m back where I was before
