Why do I not please?

I try my hardest in everything

But it’s never enough

I know I’m not perfect

but neither are you

Why do I disappoint you?

I try to impress you

but it never works.

Why am I under this curse?

You make me feel like I do nothing right

well maybe your correct

the depression you cause surrounds me

I feel like I’m going to cry

everyday I feel as though I’m going to die

so all I wonder is are you proud

am I not enough

well I’m tired of trying

of lying to myself

because I know

I’ll never impress you.
