POETRY TO GO DOT NETA Poem by Valerie Dean BelewThis is the jingle for my Commercial Free Lance Writing Business
POETRY TO GO Dot Net
I was out of work
Out of bread
And about to lose my mind
Looking for a way
My debts to pay
Out to make an extra dime
Well you got your McDonald’s
And your Burger King
For your fast food
As you know
So I had a hunch
I could pay for lunch
As a writer sacking poems to go
So
If you have someone you like
Or want to tell it to
But somehow lack the skills to write
I’ll tell you what to do
It’s very easy
Very fast
It won’t be hard to do
Dial 770
Then 401
Then zero 772
I made some cards
And an auto sign
And a website on the net
And I put my link most everywhere
So that no one could forget
It’s an art you know
With a price too low
And it must be some kind of sin
But I’m sure that the three
In the trinity
Understand the bind I’m in
So
If you have someone you like
Or want to sell it to
But somehow lack the skills to write
I’ll tell you what to do
It’s very easy
Very fast
It won’t be hard for me
Just save this number
Click this link
And pay the dad gum fee
They told me I was dreaming
Just sailing on de Nile
I told em, I’m not dreaming
But it might take a while
So if you’re out there cruising
I’m gonna make a bet
You’ll click on www DOT
Poetry to go DOT net
That’s all you have to do
We’ll do the rest for you
