And Again And AgainA Poem by Val Val

For all my decadent (delicious) descents Into delicately wrapped (rites) wrongs, For all the times I savor Single, simple sighs and for all My many mingles into the mix Of Mindlessness; I am unselfishly Unsatisfied with you unhappy. I trip over tried and true pride, Denied desire, yearning so Poignant I ache like the arthritic. All over and under the skin. Deep And dark. Inside parts left vacant, Vying for turns at the wheel. Will He love me? Maybe/Maybe not/Again. And again. A magic eight ball. I put My fate to the Fates. Keep blowing Me in his direction, please. Keep the Bookshophot hot, hot, hot. Let him Forget fickle music melees. Migrate. Meditate. Trace mandalas with fingertip. Find the means to fly/keep feelings Caged and rearranged. Bargain basement Brains boil under such intense interrogation. I am unused to unselfish but you usurp The me, me, me until there is only the we. We walk hand in hand under halos Hung loosely. Lying when we say we’re happy With how things are. Are you fed up yet? Fix this distance/stay with me always/ And again. And again. And again. © 2011 Val ValReviews
