Nine Tenths

Nine Tenths

A Poem by Val Val
"

A new one. Eat it up. Who knows when it'll happen again. Unless I get a billion reviews and get jazzed about the writing/poetry/socializing again. Honestly, there is a 60/40 chance that will happen.

I see myself in reflection.
Perception was never
My strong suit. On the curve
Of car hood. Floating over
The city through pane. Edges
Pieced together. Time lines
Shattered quartz crystals.
In the window of light from eyes,
A little dot of a person. A spec
On the windshield.

having a deep in the universe moment? love this piece, love when you take my mind beyond where it normally goes (no not just the gutter). for a short piece it certainly goes big and grows within your own mind well after the read. excellent!
