Epilogue: Four am

Epilogue: Four am

A Poem by Val Val

Third poem in series.

I settle too quickly
Into subspace,
A study of eyes
And ohs
And yous.

Effigies burn in
Your honor, sometimes
I forget you're my
Last chance, free dance
Before settling for
The two car, two child,
Two-tone, time trialed
Machine wash safe marriage.
