The Power of the Crimp

The Power of the Crimp

A Poem by Val Val

January 16, 2o1o / 2:31 pm

This is what comes
After the end of an
End. This is what
Flows between
Synapses. The
Empty corner of
The room. The
Echoed sigh.
Will you still
Occupy my
Mind? The
Distance to the
Moon is the same
No matter where
On Earth you live,
Is that even relevant
Anymore? I am
Captain Obvious
And you, the
Facts. An addict
Of myth and dream,
I swim, dive, and ask
For forgiveness.

Your words are like a soft hammer. I have a feeling that I am going to enjoy getting struck repeatedly by you.
